Medical Sisters of St. Joseph, is a congregation originated in Kothamangalam, Kerala in 1944. The Vision of the congregations’s healing mission is “ to touch the humanity with a compassionate heart and bring about wholeness”, to disseminate the Charism of Compassion. Our Founder, Servant of God Joseph Panjikaran dedicated himself to uplift the poor and downtrodden with all his activities in his whole life. He dreamt Evangelization through his activities. As part of reaching out to the sick and ailed, and make medical care available to the poor people who are unable to reach big hospitals/health centres was a main thrust of his Apostolic Activities.
Now, the Medical Sisters are rendering service to the people in Kerala, India and abroad, to reach out to heal the body and save souls.
